Venetian Blinds

Venetian Blind is a category of window treatments consisting of horizontal blades suspended in strings or woven tapes that can be tilted to control light and privacy or raised for unobstructed visibility.

Venetian blinds are available in a wide range of blade widths and materials, each with its specific purpose.

  • 25mm aluminium

  • 50mm aluminium

  • 50mm composite

  • 63mm composite

  • 50mm timber

25mm aluminium Venetian Blinds, commonly known as Slimline Blinds, are cost-effective, lightweight window furnishings. Available in 2 gauges to suit the individual's budget.

50mm aluminium Venetian Blinds are underutilized in the New Zealand market. The wide blade allows for increased natural light to enter a room and maximum visibility when looking out. Lightweight slats mean the blind can easily lift up and down with minimal wear on the operating components.

50mm composite Venetian Blinds provide the look and feel of natural timber without the uncertainty of natural products shifting and fading in the sun.

63mm composite Venetian Blinds have the widest blade of the range. A wide Blade means increased space between veins allowing for maximum light and visibility. The modern polyresin material used in Blind Boutique's composite blades mean they will not blister, peel, flake, corrode or fade, making them ideal in wet areas. A high U.V. resistance makes them perfect for the Hawke's Bay sun.

50mm timber Venetian Blinds are manufactured exclusively from sustainable plantation timber. Lighter in weight than composite options, timber Venetian Blinds are ideally suited when the blinds are raised and lowered often.
